 Candidates must have a 4 year degree or significant related experience, be detail-oriented, data-driven, and organized.  Successful candidates will have the ability to think strategically, multi-task, drive action and hold teams accountable to customer expectations.  You must have strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team oriented environment, and the desire to help people grow. 


Divisional Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Improve and Monitor Quality systems - audits, reviews and maintenance
  • Encourage and Monitor effective APQP processes
  • Drive a culture of root cause analysis
  • Understanding of IATF16949, ISO9001 and UL certification requirements
  • Assist in interpretation of customer requirements
  • Perform and lead internal audits (ISO/IATF16949)
  • Champion an effective process for customer approvals and documentation (PPAP)
  • Enhance customer and supplier relationships through appropriate communication, documentation, problem-solving, and follow-up.

Additionally as a Quality Lead responsibilities will include:

  • Insure conformance to either IATF16949 and ISO9001 certifications for your Division
  • Develop and manage to your Division's Quality KPI's, including but not limited to: Customer Scorecard, Customer PPM, Quality Incidents, etc...
  • Act as player/coach providing leadership to Quality personnel. Carry out leadership activities such as hiring, training, appraising performance, motivating, and resolving issues.
  • As a player/QE, you will have sole responsibility for quality for some of the production cells
  • Monitor customer concerns, ensure adequate response and permanent corrective actions. Champion effective resolution of customer and internal quality concerns.
  • Monitor and Report metrics for monitoring system effectiveness and customer satisfaction.


  1. Bachelor's degree or significant related experience. Minimum of 5 yrs experience in Quality/Engineering.
  2. Experience in Automotive, Office Furniture, or Appliance industry preferred.
  3. ASQ certification preferred.
  4. Demonstrated analytical problem-solving ability, with experience with various problem-solving techniques and quantitative analysis.
  5. Minimum of 3 yrs Leadership and/or coaching experience
  6. Ability to travel occasionally.
